The Department of Engineering Technology is involved in scientific research activities within domestic and foreign research programmes. Scientific activities include basic and applied research on a wide range of materials from metal alloys and plastics to composite materials and their processing technologies. The Institute has a number of unique facilities and instruments to solve research tasks.
